INVITATION FOR BIDS
SALE OF SURPLUS 48-INCH HDPE PIPE
The Town of Snowflake, Arizona, is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus material:
48-inch HDPE Bell and Spigot Pipe
Quantity: 70 sticks
Length: 20 feet per stick (approximately 1,400 linear feet total)
Condition: Surplus material; sold as-is
Reserve Price: The Town has established a minimum reserve price of $1,000 per stick. Bids below the reserve price will not be considered. Bidders may bid on one or more sticks and must state the quantity requested and the bid price per stick. The Town may award all or any portion of the available pipe in its best interest.
The pipe is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, without any express or implied warranty. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the pipe before submitting a bid. The pipe may be inspected at the Snowflake Public Works yard by appointment with Mike Rogers at mrogers@snowflakeaz.gov.
Sealed bids must state the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, quantity requested, bid price per stick, and total bid amount, and must be marked “Bid – 48-inch HDPE Pipe.” Bids must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. on October 19th, 2026, at:

Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened at 3:00 P.M. on October 19, 2026, at Snowflake Town Hall.
The successful bidder(s) must pay the full purchase price by cashier’s check or certified funds within ten business days after notice of award and must remove the purchased pipe within twenty calendar days after payment. The purchaser is responsible for all loading, transportation, permits, taxes, and related costs.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, cancel this invitation, make awards in whole or in part to one or more bidders, and accept the bid or combination of bids determined to be in the Town’s best interest. The Town is not obligated to award the entire quantity to a single bidder. The sale is subject to final approval by the Town Manager.
